Last month when we ran the poll on which blog header should be featured for the month of February (Click here to see the original poll), Erin and Justin’s photo won, but Chris and Teresa’s came in a close second so we decided to throw it up on the blog for the next month!
Coming up soon we’ve got pictures from a photo shoot with baby Ella this last weekend! Thanks so much for following along and I hope you’re having a wonderful day!
And because blog posts are better with a picture, here’s a picture of some batteries we just got in. We’re doing a lot of gearing up for the upcoming wedding season, so we just got new batteries to replace last seasons. I can’t believe how powerful and quickly these batteries work in our flashes which means that we can capture even more wonderful moments!

Yes, blog posts are more interesting with a picture, but I’m not sure a picture of batteries qualifies… =) But for a picture of batteries, this one is cool! (I should talk, since I rarely post pictures with any of my blog posts…I just apologized for that on EP’s blog tonight!)
Nice! Hey, are those rechargeable batteries? I still haven’t found a brand of rechargeable ones that are as reliable for recycling time as the disposable ones. I always feel horrible everytime I have to put them in the garbage :(.
Yes, these batteries are rechargeable and they are incredible! They are MAHA POWEREX 2700 mAh AA NiMH Rechargeable Batteries. Here’s a link to where you can get them: http://www.thomas-distributing.com/maha_2700_rechargeable_batteries.php or at least that’s where I got them. I am also using a charger by the same brand, which I am really impressed with although it is kind of spendy about $60. Let me know if you have any more questions on these Heather, as I have done far too much research on batteries.
Thanks! I’ll definitely look into those :-).
While I can’t add much to the rechargeable batteries conversation, I’ve had no problem with the plain old Energizer rechargeable AAs for my little old flash. However, I wanted to add an FYI, you don’t need to put any non-rechargeable batteries in the garbage – they can all be recycled! In fact, it’s quite hazardous to the environment to throw any of them away.
