It’s been a couple weeks now since I had the pleasure of hanging out with the Mattenley Family. I had a blast capturing their family and they were so great about staying outside, despite the cold day (I will argue regardless of weather it’s always worth it for natural light!). Thanks for being so willing and giving me the opportunity to capture your family!
I’ve been doing a lot of editing and am so excited about the shoots I did this weekend! I will be posting some 4 month old portraits, a wedding where the groom wore rubber boots and a nighttime session on the waterfront in Portland.

Be sure to note the parents who appear to be elbowing one another in the background, while the kids are standing still and smiling.
Here’s some individual shots of the awesome kids!

Here’s a note from Leah:
Thank you so much for all of the times that you took a moment to click on over to our little home on the internet during 2008! Even if we don’t know who you are, we’ve been SO GRATEFUL to have you here.
For the last few days, I’ve been brainstorming some ideas for new things to add in for the new year. Here is what I’ve come up with:
Quote of the Month – This will be a way for us to share the things that inspire us, and accompany it with a picture that communicates something to go along with it.
Getting the Most out of your pictures – Once a month, I will post an informative article with some helpful hints. It might include something like how to pick a great location, or ideas about things you can do with your completed photos. We know that you invest a lot of valuable time and money into your photos, and this is our way of respecting that!
Storytime – Every so often, I want to tell a story to go along with the pictures. For example, I might ask an engaged couple to write the story of how they met, and include it with their engagement pictures.
Looking forward to getting to know everybody better this year.
Leah
Nice work, once again. It was great to see ya’ll for much longer than expected! Thanks for the tea and company, and I look forward to the coming blogs.
the pic of the 3 kids together is great! they are wonderful kids! Also like the last one of the family on the bridge… I think I recognize the setting. ha ha
My two favorites are the same as Lisa’s! They are all wonderful but I do love the one of the three kids faces and the one on the bridge! As always, I’m super excited about what’s to come!
Its good to see family pics
